Sunset is one of my favorite moments of the day, where you stop and pause what you are doing and look at the sea.
As in the case of the sunset in Isulidda.
Isulidda - I have already talked about it other times in the Blog (and I never get tired of it!) as in 7 days in San Vito Lo Capo - it is a rock in the shape of a small island (hence the name probably) which is in "Macari, a short distance from San Vito Lo Capo.
It takes just 5 minutes to drive.
Five short minutes that will take you to one of the most magical places in the world.
Isulidda is a fantastic place also in the other hours of the day.
It is the most beautiful place among those where you can admire the sunset when you are on holiday in San Vito Lo Capo.
When the sun goes down, magic happens and you absolutely have to bring out your camera or smartphone and take an unforgettable photo to send to friends and family who have stayed at home. On the sofa. While you are at the sea.
Here you are more info about it.
Isulidda is a small bay, much loved in every season and time of day in the vicinity of which there is also the Bue Marino beach which has already been awarded the prize of "most beautiful beach in Italy" by Legambiente.
When you are in Isulidda the sea water is a little cooler than it is in San Vito Lo Capo.
During the summer, many gather here to swim.
Looking up from the sea, you will notice the Torre Isulidda built in the 16th century to spot pirates and which over the years is often the setting for wonderful photographs.
Families, small groups of friends ... but very few remain at Isulidda until sunset.
Maybe it's because preparing for dinner is an important factor.
And so off to take a shower!
The most "clever" instead remain until sunset to sip some wine and remain to watch the sun become a fiery ball that soon goes out in the sea.
The sunset is a moment of the day that we all love, because it brings us wonderful memories and creates new ones.
That in Isulidda is a magical sunset. Try and see!
You can reach this location not only "by land" but above all on a boat trip or, better, by renting a rubber dinghy and leaving from the port of San Vito Lo Capo respecting your time, your privacy and with all the spaces available !
There are many wonderful places in the San Vito Lo Capo area; many unique places to sunbathe, take a nice and healthy walk outdoors and in peace but if you have read this far I hope I made you fall in love with Isulidda or if I did not succeed I hope at least to have infused curiosity.
It is curiosity that drives us to discover new places in the world, new little corners of paradise that are often not too far away, that you can reach in a few hours of flight, or even, a few hours by car and always come back when we know they have become a "safe haven" to return to, like a second home on the beach.
I hope to welcome you soon in San Vito Lo Capo, book your beach holiday now.
Hello, it's Marco.
