Do you know the story of Hotel Piccolo Mondo?
Take a coffee, sit down and imagine the Summer of 1988.
Songs of Duran Duran, Phil Collins, U2 … are played in the jukebox of a San Vito Lo Capo.
It was not yet the tourist destination so much appreciated today.
It was a small fishing village, frequented by local people and the first German and Swiss travelers.
Yes, they are the true “pioneers” of San Vito Lo Capo.
In that period Vito & Antonella (very young and without any experience) create, working side by side, a “Small World” with people from everywhere.
We also offered half board with homemade recipes by Antonella.
The guests had the chance to discover all the gastronomic specialties of Sicilian traditions.
Time after time is the time to give a new face to the Hotel.
Antonella no longer cooks the Cous Cous and other typical dishes but now bakes fantastic cakes and delicious jams.
In fact a more functional breakfast room replaced the dining room, the stalactite at the entrance makes the hotel more differentiated from everyone else.
Our love for hospitality still continues as it was on the first day, always trying to offer an unforgettable travel experience
Since 1988 many people have stayed at the Hotel Piccolo Mondo in San Vito Lo Capo; some of them stayed in our Hotel for a few days but every time we host a new guest as a precious friend who will stay with us for a long time.
So when you get into one of the rooms of our 3-stars small hotel, it seems to return to a place that you already know.
The colors, the comfort and quiet of our hotel will allow you to feel right at home.
Here you can turn off your thoughts and relax, at the Piccolo Mondo every wish can be fulfilled: it is always a pleasure to book a table in one of the excellent restaurants in San Vito Lo Capo, or help you organize a fantastic boat trip.
There are 13 rooms in the Piccolo Mondo, including rooms with windows or balconies with sea views.
The Sicilian hospitality, the very tasty typical products such as cannoli for breakfast and the most beautiful beach in Sicily just a stone's throw away, are the ideal setting for a fantastic experience.
And then, the terrace overlooking the sea where you can relax drinking a glass of wine to end a day full of emotions.
A love of hospitality that began in 1988 and continues even now always trying to offer an unforgettable holiday experience.
